Do you know which cry of pain is the loudest? The one that can be seen in the eyes of the lonely and helpless elderly.
The mobile canteen "Near the neighbor" is the place for over 180 elders to come daily and still their hunger and loneliness. There are elders who were left alone and their pension does not ensure even a minimum food supply. Thus, already for more than two years the mobile canteen "Near the neighbor provides the elders with a daily free hot lunch. The place where a plate with hot soup warms their hands and a discussion with volunteers who have already become a family warms their souls. We are the ones who can help the elders by supporting the campaign "Table of Joy".
Social Mission Diaconia addresses the people with big hearts, who are not indifferent to the pain of lonely and helpless. Contributing to the campaign "Table of Joy" we help the mobile canteen to provide more people in need with warm meals.

About the mobile canteen: in April 2013, "Diakonia" opened in Chisinau a mobile canteen "Near the neighbor." Now the canteen together with a team of volunteers provide daily 180 people in need (elderly people living alone, people with no particular place of residence) with a warm lunch. Social Mission "Diaconia" of Bessarabian Metropolitan Church stands by people in need, treating them as the image and likeness of God.
Când și unde puteți vizita serviciul cantina mobilă „Aproape de Aproapele”? Cantina mobilă „Aproape de Aproapele” distribuie prânzuri calde beneficiarilor de luni până vineri, în două locații: 15:00- parcul Serghei Lazo din capitală 15:30 - cimitirul Eroilor Care este impactul campaniei „Masa Bucuriei” 2015? În cadrul campaniei „Masa Bucuriei” 2015 am reușit să implicăm în campanie 83 magazine din 13 localități. În ziua colectei, am reușit să adunăm 22 de tone de produse alimentare care s-au transformat în 863 de pachete alimentare distribuite bătrânilor în ajun de Paști și peste 26 000 de porții de mâncare distribuite zilnic beneficiarilor cantinei sociale „Aproape de Aproapele”. De ce să susțin campania „Masa Bucuriei”? Sunt oameni a căror bătrânețe este alftel decât se așteptau. Pensia, în medie de 700 de lei, nu le poate asigura un trai decent. Mulți dintre ei economisesc pe mâncare în favoarea medicamentelor sau serviciilor comunale. Astfel, stau înfometați. Fiecare poate veni în ajutorul lor. Cu orice donație, fie ea de 15 sau 1000 de lei, asigurăm acestor persoane dreptul la minimul în alimentație. Vă mai întrebați de ce să îi ajutăm? Pentru că altcineva nu prea are cine.
